WHAT WE CHECK

Check images, text, music, and websites.

Upload a file, paste text, or enter a URL. We run the matching check and show the signals behind the score.

IMG

Is this image AI-generated?

AI Image Detection

Spot AI art and fake photos from Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion (SDXL), and Flux. Drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP and get an AI-vs-real score in seconds.

TXT

Is this written by AI?

AI Text & Writing Detection

Catch ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and other LLMs in articles, essays, and ad copy. Our detector even guesses which model likely wrote it.

MP3

Is this song AI-generated?

AI Music Detection

Screen music for artifacts associated with Suno, Udio, and other generators. A five-second excerpt is analyzed in your browser.

URL

Was this website AI-generated?

AI Website Detection

Paste a URL to check known AI-content-farm lists, builder fingerprints, framework and hosting details, design patterns, and static copy signals.

How it works

1

Drop it in

Paste text or a website URL, or drop an image or song.

2

We analyze it

Media checks run locally; website checks inspect the public page from our server.

3

Soul or slop?

Get a clear human-vs-AI score, likely source, and the signals behind the verdict.

Private by default

Image, text, and music checks use in-browser models, so the submitted content is not uploaded for detection. Website checks fetch only the public URL you provide.

  • Anonymous use is metered with a daily quota cookie.
  • Accounts use authentication cookies and receive higher free limits.
  • Fetched website content is analyzed transiently and not retained.

Is it AI? Your questions, answered

How do I know if an image is AI-generated?+

Upload the image to Soul or Slop and our AI image detector analyzes its statistical and spectral fingerprints for signs of generators like Midjourney, DALL·E, SDXL, and Flux. You'll get a probability score rather than a hard yes/no, because no detector is perfect.

Is this text written by AI or a human?+

Paste the text and our AI writing detector scores it using linguistic signals like burstiness, vocabulary patterns, and AI 'slop' phrases, then estimates whether it came from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another model. The free check runs in your browser.

Can you detect AI-generated music like Suno or Udio?+

Yes. The music detector analyzes a five-second excerpt with the open SONICS model and reports a probabilistic score. It runs in your browser, but no detector can identify every generator or edited track.

Can you tell if a website was made with AI?+

Paste its URL to check a community AI-site blocklist, AI-builder fingerprints, static HTML and CSS patterns, framework markers, hosting signals, and marketing-copy patterns. The result is a heuristic evidence score, not proof of authorship.

How accurate is AI detection?+

Accuracy depends on the content, the generator, and how heavily it was edited. AI detection is probabilistic, so Soul or Slop reports a confidence score, not proof. Use it as a strong signal, not as sole evidence for high-stakes decisions.

Is Soul or Slop free?+

Yes, with daily limits that reset at midnight UTC. Without an account, you can run 3 image, 3 text, 2 music, and 2 website checks per day. A free signed-in account raises those limits to 10 image, 10 text, 5 music, and 5 website checks per day. Paid plans are coming later.

Is my content uploaded or stored?+

Image, text, and music content is analyzed in your browser. Website checks require our server to fetch the public URL, but fetched page content is not retained.
